Day Off II

Today was paddle day. We put in with the canoe trip that Laurie was leading. After they got going we broke from the group and did our own thing. There are pictures here, and the only excitement of the paddle was the fish that jumped just off my right side. Very close and it sure caught my attention.


Back at the camper we put the awning lights back up. We had taken everything down and rolled up the awning because of the storms in the area last night. This time we strung the lights between the two lantern post we have on site.

Suzette worked on a pine needle basket while I relaxed. Laurie came by to do a demonstration but since there were no attendees we visited for a while and showed her pictures we had taken at Lake Anna.

More thunder but no storm warnings. Oh the weather channel that serves this area was back on line.
