Uneventful trip home from Coopers Rock. Well that said we did decide to get off of I68 in Cumberland and take Md 51 to PawPaw WVA. then state routes 29 and 127 to hook up with US522. We had ridden those rodes several times with our motorcycles and figured it would be a good way to go. Not bad and I t think we made about the same time.
I would say that overall we averaged 9 mpg while towing.
Good to be home.

Today is a travel day. We got on the road about 8:30 and slabed our way to West Virginia. At I68 exit 15 we got off to spend the night at Coopers Rock State Forest. The campsite had electricity only. This was my first right turn back in so it provided some entertainment for our next site neighbor. After we were all set but before the rain we took a drive to the over look. Impressive to say the least. It was overcast so the view was limited. There was thunder around and when we were out on the rock and saw lightning we decided it was time to leave.

Today we visited the Air Force Museum in Dayton. Yeah they have a lot of planes. Of special interest to me was the B52 since I worked on that plane when I was in the service. Lots of walking on concrete. Very good displays and well worth the price, free. We did see an Imax feature Straight Up which was about helicopters. Man Imax is great.
This is a B52 which is one of the planes I worked on when I was in the Air Force

We met a group of internet friends, Wings On The Internet (WOTI http://www.woti.org) for breakfast and fellowship. After breakfast we went to the Homecoming and registered to win a Goldwing as well as a Honda Ridgeline. We looked as several exhibits and then left for the vendor area in Bellefontaine. We looked at toy haulers. Man the 38' 5th wheel is a House. Slide on each side in the main salon as well as one in the master bedroom. The ceiling is high enough for a ceiling fan. It also had a slide out pantry, http://www.rvwholesalers.com/inventory/view.php?ccode=114926201959073&startitem=&startpage=&endpage=&current=&category=Toy%20Hauler&make=All%20American%20Sport&model=&condition=
We also went to the Neil Armstrong Air and Space museum.

During our trip to Indian Lake State Park we stopped at the National Road, US40, and Zane Grey museum, http://www.ohiohistory.org/places/natlroad/. It was very interesting. There was a movie on Zane Grey's life and a number of artifacts of his adventures.
We have arrived at Indian Lake State Park in Ohio, http://www.ohiodnr.com/parks/parks/indianlk.htm. We only have electric hookup so we tanked up with water before setting up on the site. Once we were set up we left for the Honda plant to see what was going on and get a program. We arrived to late to sign up for anything but we did get a program and look at a Goldwing that the associates had taken apart. Their plan is to put it back together on Friday. We decided to treat ourselves to dinner out and, of course, visit the local Wal Mart super center. Well we did need a couple of things.

We are on our way to Honda Homecoming from our home in Virginia. This is our first long trip with our new drag behind camper.
At a rest area in West Virginia.
We are at a KOA near Washington PA and just set up this blog.

I talked to a fellow and his wife that have a toy hauler and are on their way to a Harley event in Morgantown WVA. He has a Harley dresser and Honda Ruckus in his hauler.

Welcome to the Blogiverse! (Some say 'blogosphere', but I like mine better)
Strongly suggest enabling word verification for your comments. Even disallowing anonymous comments doesn't keep the spammers at bay for long. Word verification did the trick for me.
Sometimes the blogger picture uploading thing doesn't work for me either. Dunno why.
Cool shot of the B-52. Glad you were able to get the pics uploaded.
Had a great time at the brew fest again. Whenever you guys come out here next, we have some neat places to take you for beer and stuff. Like this BBQ joint we finally got around to trying out, and various brewpubs and stuff.
