Spring Break 2007 Pictures
70 passenger air boat on Upper Myakka Lake
The sign said "Don't feed ...", I think they should have added a line, Don't become food for ...
We learned that an alligator must get its body temp to about 86 to digest its food. Maybe this one was just having a good burp
The Bald Eagle, center of picture, flew by us and landed on the mud flat and we watched it for about 45 minutes before it flew off. This picture is taken from the birdwalk at Upper Myakka Lake.
Feral hogs at Myakka. There are about 2000 of these animals and they trap about 1000 a year. They are very destructive.
