This is our final day. When we pack up our next destination is home, it will be nice to be back.
We had a cooked breakfast of pancakes, eggs and bacon. We used the new griddle which fit nicely over the back two burners of our stove. We had planed to cook outside on the grill but it was just to miserable outside.
Gas cylinder #2 went empty while Suzette was taking here shower so I had to switch over to tank #1 which we had refilled last year.
After breakfast was cleaned up we headed toward Clarksville to fuel up and then tour Occoneechee State Park and Campground. This is a very nice park but we liked the campsites at Rudd's Creek better. Most of the ones in the area we could tour, camp area B was closed, were basically bi-level.
There is lots to see and do around this area. In October they hold hydroplane boat races on the lake. Get more information on Virginia's State Parks.
The trip home was uneventful but there were a lot of "Sunday" drivers out on a Saturday. It sure was nice to have the power to comfortably pass them on a two lane road. Did I say I really like our new truck?
