We stayed at Desert Rose RV Park for 2 nights. This gave us time to get hair cuts, load up on WalMart goods and see a couple of sites.
WalMart seemed to have several folks getting supplies for Burning Man. Several RV's in their parking lot. Many had 100# propane tanks along with 5 gallon cans of gas for their generators. Just can't give up all convenience.
We took a trip to Fallon NV to see Grimes Point and anything else of interest in that area. We found the Churchill County Museum. Another of those neat out of the way attractions which was housed in an old Safeway store. Very interesting.
One place we didn't go was to the Top Gun training base.
