Leavng the Dust

Monday July 9

Today we make a long tow, well 45 miles or so, over to Westmoreland State Park on the Potomac river.

After a light breakfast we packed up and made ready to hook up but first I had to clean the dutch oven we left at Carl and Susie's after desert last night.

Our trip to Westmoreland was an easy tow and we choose site A4 but once we got there we realized that the arrangement was really backwards, picnic table and fire pit were on the left side and the water and electric were on the right, where the awning and doors and such are. Soooo we moved to A7 which was opposite A4.

When we were set up and had lunch we headed for the pool, spending the rest of the afternoon there. We actually swam a few side to side laps so we were tired and since it was hot we decided to eat inside and just hangout with the A/C for the evening.

Site A7 at Westmoreland SP
Logan knows there is a squirrel up there somewhere
